I'm not sure where all my ideas come from, but this one was certainly fun. My girls and I did our best to go to as many parks as we could in one day. The rule was that we had to play on the playset and only be there for 20 minutes. We were able to get to 10 parks.
IT WAS WILD!
We had so much fun. Here are some pics of our adventure. I took a pic of them around the sign of every park.
This is a church down the street from my house. I think churches tend to have some of the best playgrounds. 7 out of 10
This is a school by our house. Lots of good fun. This joint has a serious steel slide. I haven't seen one of these rascals in years. 7 out of 10
This was a very small playground. We only played for 8 minutes. 6 out of 10
I didn't like this park. As soon as I saw a little boy shove one of my girls, I rode up out of there quick. 6 out of 10
Fantastic park. Very well kept and maintained. You see Taylor is going back to play. 8 out of 10 *This play ground has the thick rubberized play area not the wood chips. This was a WINNER!
Do your research and make sure all your parks are OPEN! This is a HUGE church playground. I'll be back before Summer's end to give you all an update on it.
This park didn't have a real sign. Not sure why, but it's always a good park near our church. 7 out of 10. This park is a winner whenever.
Another well maintained school playground. Very nice and clean. 8 out of 10 for the great rubberized mats and new fresh play equipment.
This is a community across the street from our house. Taylor calls it Taylor Park. Not sure why, but these are my kids. 7 out of 10.
A church by my house. Again, keeping it real tight for the church playground. Nice tree cover and a fantastic play set. 9 out of 10 * for the fantastic tree cover and well spaced out playset.
We had a picnic at this park so that marked off another slot on our 101 things to do during the Summer list.
This is the playground in my community. I'm sure you notice what I noticed when get walked up to it. THERE'S NO PLAY SET! It's in the process of being replaced and the new swing set was up 1st. Have to give my own community a 5 out of 10 until later.
The nap they took afterwards was 9.5 out of 10 for sure. We had a lot of fun and can't wait for the next Playground Crawl. We might do it before the end of the Summer.
Enjoy your Summer.
